Obi-Wan Kenobi the Jedi Master has always been a firm fan favorite but in the Clone Wars animated series Season 2, Episode 12 we see a side of General Kenobi that we have not seen before.

During the episode, Obi-Wan has to navigate a very tricky and highly complex political situation. He must make difficult decisions and overcome challenging obstacles all while upholding the moral integrity of the Jedi code.
It is an episode that sees Obi-Wan struggle with the responsibility placed on his shoulders and an unfamiliar fear of failing.
He is plagued with doubt and tormented by his frustration. Moreover, the confidence we are used to seeing from our Jedi hero is absent.

The climax of season 2 episode 12 story arc “The Mandalore Plot” sees Obi-Wan Kenobi confront Pre Vizsla the Death Watch Leader in a fierce, intense lightsaber duel.
It is a fight where Obi-Wan is not just fighting for Madalore. It is also a fight to reconcile and reconnect with his duty as a Jedi, his need for justice, and his want of peace.
