The new Guillermo del Toro version of Pinocchio is creating quite the buzz. The new big screen/Netflix release is a dark and twisted remake of the classic Pinocchio story that hits the streaming service on December 9th, 2022. This first wave of new Pinocchio Pops features the characters, Black Rabbit, Geppetto, Wood Spirit, and of course Pinocchio with Cricket.

This all-new darker version of Pinocchio gives us much darker versions of the characters from the classic story that is very different from what we are used to from the Pinocchio story. The normally cute characters are now a bit strange, very weird, and oddly peculiar.
