During the Maximum Carnage killing spree, Doppelganger Spider-Man teamed up with the symbiote Carnage, Shriek, Carrion, and Demogoblin.
Doppelganger Spider-Man became an even more formidable opponent in battle against Spider-Man under the guidance and tutelage of Shriek. When Carnage turns on Shriek, Doppelganger intervenes and Carnage stabs Doppelganger Spide-Man and throws him off the building sending him crashing to the ground far below.
