Today we welcome the new Snoop Dogg Funko Pops to the world of Funko Pop Rocks and drop it like it’s hot!
Snoop Dogg is no question one of the most iconic rappers and influential musicians of all time but he is really more than that. He’s also a tv star, and media personality and appeared in many movies the last of which was Day Shift where he starred alongside Jamie Foxx as a Vampire Hunter.
Snoop Dogg’s real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr was born on October 20, 1971.
His big break came in 1992 when he featured on a young Dr. Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover”, he formed a strong friendship and professional relationship with Dre and went on to contribute to Dre’s debut solo album titled “The Chronic”.
Shortly after Snoop recorded his debut album “Doggystyle”, an album that would launch a rap career that would sell over 23 million albums in the USA and a phenomenal 35 million albums worldwide.
With such success of course came the awards. These include an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 and counting nominations at the Grammy Awards.
Snoop Dogg has released a string of hit albums and singles and has worked with the best of the best.
