We love the LEGO BrickHeadz here at AFG and so in this new article, we break down what we consider to be the best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz you can buy.

Let’s get started!

What are LEGO BrickHeadz?

LEGO BrickHeadz are a line of LEGO building sets that allow you to build characters from iconic movie franchises.

They were first launched in early 2017, and we tend to liken them to the extremely popular Funko Pop Vinyls.

Similar in size they fit perfectly on any shelf desk or display cabinet.

BrickHeadz are priced in line with Funko Pops making them a great pocket money purchase or birthday gift.

They are however very collectible and some are now very hard to find so expect to pay a premium if you want to add one of the rare BrickHeadz to your collection.

Build each figure brick by brick to create your favorite characters.

The build time is normally around an hour or so per figure.

Iconic franchises like Marvel, Dc, and Star Wars can all be found in collectible BrickHeadz form.

The only question is when you buy a BrickHeadz do you assemble it or do you leave it mint in box?

Or maybe you will just have to buy 2 of each?

In this new AFG post, we will be taking a look at all the Star Wars BrickHeadz released so far, providing you a buyers/collectors checklist and gallery so that you know the best Star Wars BrickHeadz to buy.

LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz Buyers Guide and Gallery

Let’s look at each in more detail.

LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz – Finn 41485 (91 pcs)

The early Finn and Captain Phasma Star Wars BrickHeadz were not well received by LEGO Star Wars fans.

Finn is frankly just a bit meh! He is just a bit basic he almost looks like a bad prototype that was never meant to have been released.

But that doesn’t stop him from being a highly collectible Star Wars Brickheadz LEGO building set.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Captain Phasma 41486 (127 Pcs)

Captain Phasma was the second of the two original LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz to be released and for us, there are some design problems with Captain Phasma.

For example, what is going on with the helmet? It seems way too bulky and just doesn’t work as well as a helmet compared to those that we can draw a comparison with in the later Star Wars BrickHeadz released.

Besides the problems with the design, the original Star Wars Brickheadz came with a printed tile on the stand that most fans hated. This tile was quickly dropped after the early BrickHeadz sets were released.

Despite her flaws, Captain Phasma is a highly collectible Star Wars BrickHeadz but unless you’re a BrickHeadz collector she is one to possibly pass on.

Captain Phasma comes with a detachable blaster and her controversial collector’s base with the BrickHeadz icon on display.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Rey 41602 (119 Pcs)

The Rey BrickHeadz is a pretty good figure. I wouldn’t say that Rey is one of the best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz, I would place her somewhere in the middle of the pack.

The lightsaber seems a little small for the figure but there is nothing that is really in proportion with the BrickHeadz figures but then that is part of their charm.

Rey comes with her blue detachable lightsaber and a collector’s base, with the BrickHeadz icon.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Kylo Ren 41603 (130 Pcs)

LEGO BrickHeadz achieved a great likeness with their Kylo Ren figure.

It’s the styling of the hair that makes this a great figure for your collection.

If you have the Rey BrickHeadz then you are gonna need the Kylo Ren figure as well.

Is he one of the best Star Wars BrickHeadz?

Not for me and that’s not because he is a bad figure it is because I just don’t think that he is a great Star Wars character.

He was supposed to be the new villain but he is certainly no Vader.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite 41498 2-pack (329 Pcs)

Next, we have the first 2-pack on our list and that is the iconic Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite. This 2-pack is an NYCC exclusive from 2017 and is one of the best Star Wars BrickHeadz you can buy.

If you can get your hands on this 2-pack then buy it.

LEGO did an outstanding job with this building set, the styling is just outstanding.

From Boba’s red-tinted visor to Han’s closed eyes poking through the carbonite slab.

The helmet section is just great with no Captain Phasma problems.

This set is one of the most valuable LEGO BrickHeadz you can buy.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Han Solo 41608 (141 pcs)

The Han Solo BrickHeadz set dies have its critics but he is one that I would buy. He is a pretty good likeness to Han with great hero hair and a cool detailed body and of course, he has his signature blaster.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Chewbacca 41609 (149 pcs)

Chewy divides the BrickHeadz fans. From the base to his head it’s a great figure but when you get into the head section of this set it does seem to go a bit wrong.

His head kind of looks like a giant helmet. We appreciate how hard it is to create a Chewy figure in brick form but even so, there are just better figures where the character likeness really works but they are obviously easier to produce.

Despite the negatives, Chewy is not the worst set you can buy and we do still think he worth the ticket price and let’s face it if you are going to collect and display Star Wars BrickHeadz you do need a Chewbacca.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Darth Vader 41619 (104 pcs)

Darth Vader is a must-have Star Wars BrickHeadz. He is quite simple in design but it just works.

All the character features come in the form of printed bricks and they really make this a figure worth spending your money on.

Of course, Vader comes with his signature Red Lightsaber.

Vader is in our opinion one of the best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz.

Are we right? Let us know in the comments section below.

Stormtrooper 41620 (124 pcs)

The 41620 Stormtrooper BeickHeadz is said to be the best of all Star Wars Brickheadz that have been created and I can see why.

It is the simplicity of the figure that makes him and the printed details really bring the likeness. The problem is, is buying just one StormTrooper enough? Don’t you need an army?

When you compare the Stormtrooper with Captain Phasma it is clear where LEGO went so wrong with Phasma.

The BrickHeadz Stormtrooper is a must-have buy and one of the best if not the best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz.

Luke Skywalker and Yoda 41627 2-pack (215 pcs)

Luke Skywalker and Yoda are the second 2-pack Star Wars building set to have been produced.

The design of Luke is great with him donning his Cloud City outfit.

Master Yoda is simple in design but still great. He is smaller than conventional BrickHeadz and the color scheme is spot on. The ears are what really bring the Yoda likeness to the table.

LEGO Star Wars – BrickHeadz – Leia 41628 (124 pcs)

The Leia BrickHeadz is quite a plain figure, after all, there is not much detail you can add when your working with a plain white dress.

But where the Leia BrickHeadz figure works is with the head design. The famous Princess Leia hairstyle is evident and her blaster is carefully styled as well

There is nothing I don’t like about this figure but she just doesn’t stand out from the crowd.

Boba Fett 41629 (161 pcs)

This is the second Boba Fett BrickHeadz to be produced and he really looks great and pushes the Stormtrooper all the way to the title of best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz.

What can we say, the color scheme is great, the printed details are awesome and we would go as far as to say that this version of Boba Fett is an improvement of what was already a great figure that appeared with Han in Carbonite.

LEGO did a great job with this figure, he certainly is one of the best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz.

Go buy him!

Kylo Ren and Sith Trooper 75232 2-pack (240 pcs)

Kylo Ren appears for the second time in the world of BrickHeadz and I am not a big fan if I am honest.

The solo appearance was a better figure,  he just looked like Kylo Ren. For me, it is a different story with this version.

I struggle with the likeness, the mask and head seem to be on the large side probably because of the addition of his hood.

Kylo Ren is not a bad figure but LEGO loses me a bit in the helmet and mask design.

If we look at the Stormtrooper, Captain Phasma, and the Sith Trooper and draw a comparison with the Stormtrooper being top-notch and Phasma being a huge disappointment then the Sith Trooper is somewhere in the middle.

The Mandalorian and The Child 75317 2-pack (295 pcs)

This is a great Star Wars BrickHeadz 2-pack

This version of Mando has him in his original armor from the early episodes before he acquired his Beskar Steel armor.

All in all, we love the Mandalorian… as a Disney show as a Funko Pop, as an action figure, and The Mandalorian in BrickHeadz form is no different. The color scheme and printed details are perfect. His helmet and accessories are excellent. Mando is just a great Star Wars BrickHeadz to own.

The Child, Baby Yoda, Grogu, disappoints a little. He comes in his hover pop but that only serves to make him seem too big against Mando.

Apart from that the Mandolorian and The Child BrickHeadz 2-pack is a great buy.

Ashoka Tano 40539 LEGO BrickHeadz (164 pcs)

The 150th edition of LEGO BrickHeadz gives us the awesome Ashoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

We really like this Star Wars BrickHeadz, she just looks great. LEGO has done a fantastic job in capturing the character in brick form.

Ashoka Tano is our new favorite LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz.

Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader – Obi-Wan 40547 2-pack LEGO BrickHeadz

Darth Vader makes a second appearance in BrickHeadz form accompanying Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This cool Star Wars BrickHeadz 2-pack is taken from the new Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Show.

Obi-Wan looks great in BrickHeadz form while the new Darth Vader has a more menacing look with his red visor eyes.

Set consists of 260 brick pieces and is a really strong buy for BrickHeadz and Star Wars fans.

Best LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz – Takeaways

So which do you think is the best Lego Star Wars BrickHeadz?

Well are personal favorite is Ashoka Tano. She seems to be as perfect a BrickHeadz as you can get.

We would put the solo Boba Fett as a close second and Darth Vader as a close third.

But if you are like us at AFG you will buy them all anyway.

That’s all for now!

So are you a LEGO fan?

Do you buy the LEGO BrickHeadz are do you prefer the regular LEGO building sets like the Technic sets?

Which franchises and characters would you like to see move into BrickHeadz form? If we gave an answer to this question then in keeping with the Star Wars theme it would have to be the Bad Batch.

We already have the Bad Batch Funko Pops, we think they would be great in BrickHeadz form as well.
