Its official LEGO is bringing the Elven homeland to life with this new LEGO Icons Lord of the Rings LOTR Rivendell LEGO (10316). We have all the news on this giant new LOTR LEGO set, accompanying images, and the best online retailers to buy it from.
LEGO has announced the arrival of the Lord of the Rings LEGO Icons Rivendell LEGO set (10316).
This is a big set and when we say big we mean big coming in at a colossal 6,167 pieces.

LEGO Icons Lord of the Rings Rivendell LEGO (10316)
With this new Rivendell LEGO set LEGO LOTR fans can reenact a number of scenes that were set in the Elven homeland, Rivendell.
There is the Council Ring, the bridge area where Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin start their long arduous journey, and Frodo’s room at the end of the story is also featured in all its glory.
The LOTR Rivendell LEGO set also comes with 15 collectible mini-figures including:

This new LEGO Rivendell set can be built in three sections.
Section one features:
The Council Ring
The Fellowship’s quest to destroy the One Ring was thrashed out within the semicircular Council Ring. Complete with chairs for the council and the plinth stage. It is here that the council is shown the One Ring for the first time and the discussion begins on how to destroy it.
Frodo’s Bedroom
Frodo recovers in his bedroom after being rescued by Arven from the Nazgûl and is reunited with Bilbo Baggins.
Elrond’s study
Elrond’s study is filled with famous paintings from the history of Middle-earth.
Section two features:
Elven tower
The Elven tower features five famous, yet unnamed warriors from the Elven dynasty.
Section three features:
Gazebo, river, and bridge
It is time for the Fellowship heroes to depart the sanctuary of Rivendell to begin their beyond-fearsome quest to destroy the One Ring. A dangerous and perilous journey begins and the heroes must succeed.
The LEGO Rivendell set also comes with a number of accessories.

The LEGO Rivendell set is highly detailed. It really is designed to be built and displayed and in that essence, it is really a collector’s set.
The hefty price tag also moves the set into the collectors market.
It really is a great set and if money was no object I would buy, build and give it pride of place amongst my other collectibles but does it make it into my Best Lord of the Rings LEGO sets list?

Wow! With that many pieces, it puts jigsaw puzzles to shame. I can’t even picture the size of the box. If I was to do this one, I think I would reserve a place in the corner of the living room to keep it. Once done, I would not dismantle it.
Yes, it is a giant LEGO set that is for sure and you definitely need a big room to display it in when you build it.
