The differences between Green and Red Hulk!
There is confusion outside of the Marvel Fanbase about the Green and Red Hulk… same character, right? Wrong.
There are some very important differences between the two Hulk despite their very similar looks.
The main difference is that Green Hulk and Red Hulk are different characters. Green Hulk is Dr. Bruce Banner while Red Hulk is the former General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt”
Both are also different in how they increase their strength and power. The angrier Green Hulk gets the stronger he becomes. In the case of Green Hulk, his rage increases his physical strength, and his resistance to damage and regeneration power, with no apparent limit to how angry the green Hulk can become.
With the Red Hulk, gamma radiation is the key to the increase of his power. The greater his exposure to radiation the more physically strong and powerful Red Hulk becomes.
But Red Hulks’ increasing level of strength and power based on the radiation level he absorbs is also his weakness. While both Green Hulk and Red Hulk both generate a certain amount of gamma radiation the Red Hulk’s anger and rage energy output is significantly higher. The more the Red Hulk fights the hotter he becomes and when he hits a certain heat threshold he becomes disoriented and vulnerable.
