Aquaman: From Comic Pages to Cinematic Seas
Aquaman, aka Arthur Curry, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, Aquaman made his debut in “More Fun Comics” #73 in 1941.
Unlike many superheroes, Aquaman’s unique abilities are centered around his command over the sea and its creatures. As the rightful heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, he possesses superhuman strength, endurance, and the power to communicate with marine life.
One of the founding members of the Justice League, Aquaman has undergone various iterations in comics, adapting to changing storytelling trends.
Traditionally portrayed as a blond-haired, orange-and-green-clad hero, the character has evolved over time.
