Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes is a long-time friend of Tony Stark.

The War Machine armor is very similar to the suit that Iron Man wears giving its occupant superhuman strength and flight. It carries unibeam and repulsor rays weaponry, a swivel mount mini-gun, a sonic cannon and rocket launcher, and more.
