Mickey’s Magical Mischief: The Enduring Enchantment of Sorcerer’s Apprentice
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a classic segment from Disney’s animated feature film “Fantasia,” which was released back in 1940. Mickey Mouse assumes the role of an apprentice to the sorcerer Yen Sid.
In The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey wears a magical hat that grants him the power to control brooms and buckets to do his chores.
However, Mickey’s lack of magical experience quickly leads to chaos. Mickey is out of his depth and soon realizes he is unable to control the magic he has unleashed. The brooms relentlessly flood the sorcerer’s tower, with Mickey unable to stop what is happening.
